This position is located in Toronto, and you will work on the team responsible for opening accounts for NBIN.

The Operations sector plays a key role in delivering products and services to clients. Every day, we move closer to our transformation, automation and digitization goals, thanks to the expertise of the professionals in this sector who strive to ensure we offer exceptional service to our clients.

We’ve created several section manager positions within our teams:

  • Internal and external transfer team 
  • Inbound transfer and follow-up team 
  • NBDB (National Bank Direct Brokerage) origination team
  • Administration team 
  • NBIN (National Bank Independent Network) origination team

These positions will support teams with a large management scope in reaching their operational performance objectives and developing employees in their day-to-day activities, while offering a management development path to employees who have the required skills and are interested.

You will stand out for your leadership skills and experience, your ability to initiate and manage change, and your operational knowledge.

Your main challenges:

  • Manage a team of 10 to 15 people responsible for delivering various daily production activities
  • Create a motivating environment in an operational context
  • Maximize your employees' contribution while helping them progress and develop their skills through ongoing coaching
  • Manage the team’s operations by planning capacity, and managing team performance and quality
  • Monitor key performance indicators
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in personnel management
  • Experience optimizing processes and operations
  • Sound knowledge of operational processes
  • Experience planning and organizing work based on volume, resources and priorities
  • Experience managing operational performance (KPIs, deadlines, quality) and group performance (synergy and teamwork)
  • Understanding of dashboards and ability to track them
  • Ability to communicate with and motivate a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence
  • Spoken English is essential and spoken French, an asset
