Are you ready to join our team of designers, builders and integrators of world class trading technology?  Are you motivated by accomplishing remarkable things that have a positive impact and change the world?  As our newest Jr. Electronic Trading Developer, you will work with our developers, quants, traders and technology experts to implement, test and continuously deliver new features and products to our customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Understand and modify large, complex programs as part of a team.
  • Responsible for the architectural design of complex software solutions and components.
  • Be Involve with and/or prepare database design for Financial and Research applications.
  • Participate in design discussions and produce design/functional artifacts.
  • Assist in user requirement process, task breakdown, effort estimation and implementation of new software features in an incremental manner using agile methodologies.
  • Optimize algorithms, improve the efficiency of the technology.
  • Research new technologies and software solutions - out-of-the-box innovative thinkers are highly valued.
  • Stay current in the field of software development and learning new programming platforms, tools and languages as needed.
  • Develop moderate complexity to highly complex software solutions in support of business requirements and in accordance with predetermined software solution design standards.
  • Documentation of all efforts for support, maintenance and reference purposes using existing tools in use.


  • Degree in Computer/Software Engineering, or related discipline with a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a Java Developer.
  • Experience with Python, AWS, Hadoop toolsets, cloud computing are assets.
  • Data Science, Machine learning and A.I. experience or exposure and asset.
  • Enjoy and have interest working within the dynamic environment of Capital/Financial Markets.
  • Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written.
  • Working knowledge of PERL, LINUX, Informix, MQ series an asset.
