  • Profile: You must be enthusiastic about the client and overall financial planning offer
  • Experience: Relevant experience in business development in financial advisory services
  • Background:
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent recognized by the IQPF)
    • Valid licence of Mutual Fund Sales Representative (MFSRs)
    • Certified financial planner certification (CFP) or be on track to obtain it within the next 12 months
  • Language:
    • French / English (varies by region)

Your job

  • Produce/write financial planning reports for the investment advisor’s clients.
  • Conduct in-depth and diversified analyzes on specific aspects of financial planning.
  • Understand business issues, identify stakeholders’ needs and propose strategies to support the implementation of your recommendations while taking into account the diversity of files.
  • Work closely with business partners to achieve objectives, including wealth management solution managers, regional directors, etc.
  • Monitor market developments and keep abreast of trends in order to propose the necessary adjustments.
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial planning tools.

Skills required

  • Financial Planning Title/Accreditation (F.Pl.).
  • University degree in a relevant field (accounting, actuarial, finance, economics, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of financial planning.
  • Knowledge of wealth management, financial products, pension plans and various insurance products.
  • Recognized expertise in integrated financial planning.
  • Strong analytical skills in the context of assessing complex financial issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in customer service and communication.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial planning concepts in a simple, comprehensive, and practical manner.
  • Very good knowledge of computer tools.
  • Ability to communicate in French.
  • Fluent in English (both writing and speaking), as you will serve a unilingual English-speaking clientele.
