National Bank Insurance Firm is presently seeking a Client Relations Advisor to take care of our clients based in the region of Quebec.

This position reports to the Director client services, Group insurance plan, your role in the team will be to:

  • Remotely evaluate and identify clients’ needs and suggest the right solutions from our insurers and partners
  • Establish and maintain efficient communications with different stakeholders regarding business development, implementation and renewal of group insurance plans and customer services
  • Manage priorities and client expectations regarding our global offering

More specifically, you will have to: 

  • Present renewals and options for group insurance plans of our SME sector clients
  • Provide recommendations, over the phone, to ensure client retention
  • Support clients with complex questions regarding group insurance plan (explanation of payroll deductions and tax optimization)
  • Provide excellent customer service and advanced support to administrators and resolve our clients’ problems regarding group insurance plan
  • Guide our clients, particularly with implementation and renewals of group insurance plans, specialized products and support with insurer’s website
  • Develop and maintain an expertise in group insurance plans offered on the market
  • Eventually, take charge of internal referencing for the SME sector client and work through a complete sales cycle
  • The tasks and responsibilities may evolve depending on operational needs of the sector

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and an experience of two years OR Master’s degree in a related field OR University certificate and an experience of four years
  • Licence in group insurance and group annuity plan delivered by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers or planning to obtain it
  • Minimum of four years of experience with group insurance plan with an insurer or a broker
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, an asset
  • Knowledge of the challenges and realities of SMEs, an asset
  • Ease of business development
  • Knowledge of pricing concepts for group insurance plans
  • Manage priorities
  • Solid ability to adapt to change
  • Strong customer service skills and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French), essential
