National Bank Financial is looking for an Associate Wealth Management Advisor to join our team at Boulanger Brunet Le Bon in Quebec City.

Our team currently consists of 4 Wealth Management Advisors and 2 assistants. A golden opportunity to join a dynamic, organized and customer-centric team. This is entrepreneurship at its best!

The customer is at the heart of our business model. The Associate Wealth Management Advisor accompanies his clients in their life events to achieve their financial goals and dreams. He is the contact person for all the financial needs of his clients.

The team already has a good base of active customers. The ways of doing things and the processes are well established. We are looking for a leader to join us. A rigorous and passionate person!

On a daily basis, you work with a Wealth Management Advisor and a Senior Assistant. You report to the Regional Director. Together, we have the challenge of attracting new customers; and to build a lasting relationship of trust with them and their families.

It is with him that you will determine your goals and that you will monitor your development. You work hand in hand with your team of Wealth Management Advisor and Assistant to develop professionally and achieve your career goals;

Competencies required

  • Canadian Securities Course
  • Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
  • Financial Planner or any other accreditation related to the field, an asset
  • Propensity to offer clients quick, professional and efficient service
  • Knowledge of taxation, an asset
  • Required French language spoken and written, and English language , an asset

Preferred competencies

  • Recognized ability to learn software and IT systems
  • Excellent ability to maintain business relationships remotely (e.g. communications teams, telephone etc.)
  • Drive, perseverance and energy
  • Ability to work on a team

To be successful in this role:

  • You have initiative
  • You have an entrepreneurial mind
  • You’re analytical and are good at finding solutions
  • You make it your priority to know your clients are well served and fully satisfied
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the position, such as finance or business administration, and at least two years of experience in the securities industry OR a combination of relevant training and experience in developing relationships
  • You’ve successfully completed the Canadian Securities Course
  • You’ve taken the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
