As a training expert, you'll develop and ensure the implementation of a standardized training strategy for various OFM units. You'll interact with Management to properly target needs. You'll work with expert coaches from each sector and develop independent study tools. You'll report to the Leader – Training and Talent Development, LSTD (Learning Strategy and Talent Development).

Main responsibilities: 

  • Understand the ecosystem, needs and tools available so you can establish a training/onboarding strategy.
    • Analyze real-life experiences
    • Establish benchmarking with similar projects: Operations Investments, IT, Financial Markets
  • Build a centralized and informative learning space and create content that is adapted to employees' realities and that will cover the life cycle of OFM employees.
    • Develop an onboarding plan
    • Draw up an action plan for the different sectors
    • Create skill-specific training plans
  • Create dynamic tools that support learning and positively impact employees.
    • Document procedures
    • Create videos, job aids, reference sheets
    • Implement coaching and shadowing
  • Coordinate and integrate onboarding employees
  • Establish measurement and feedback mechanisms for the program
  • Help hire future candidates who are members of the academy (cohorts)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience OR master's degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with and knowledge of the Operations and Financial Markets environment and products (mainly OTC, FX, derivatives, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the various systems used (Murex, OSS, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of the following software, an asset: Snagit, Audacity, Adobe Premiere Elements, iSpring, Articulate, HandBrake, Vyond
  • Autonomy, initiative and a sense of priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a constantly evolving work setting
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to speak succinctly and using plain language
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), essential
