National Bank, Financial Markets is a leading Canadian financial services provider helping clients with their capital raising, risk management and advisory requirements. We provide products and services to corporate clients, institutional investors and government entities. The firm has operations in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, New York, London, Dublin and Hong Kong.

We are expanding our team of passionate professionals and we are seeking a Coordinator that will assist in managing information and coordinating initiatives more efficiently for Financial Markets Compliance activities globally.

This position reports to the Senior Advisor, Governance and Compliance Financial Markets.

Your role :

  • Draft and revise team documents, format presentations and produce high quality documents
  • Coordinate periodic regulatory filings and centralize such filings
  • Help in maintaining the registrations, approved persons (AP) employees’ files up to date
  • Coordinate and maintain the team’s intranet and NBFM internet site (i.e., regulatory section) to date
  • Help the team follow-up on files and activities
  • Assist and implement an efficient process concerning the onboarding of new employees
  • Assist in the creation and development of collaborative tools
  • Prepare agendas and take minutes for Management
  • Handle travel arrangements and expense reports
  • Plan and organize team meetings, activities and reservations as needed

Competencies required:

  • Professional College Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in using collaboration tools (Yammer, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence etc.)
  • Excellent organizational, prioritizing requests and communication skills
  • Attention to details and thoroughness
  • Interpersonal skills, good people skills and client-centric (internal and external)
  • Capable to adapt to change, collaborate and work in teams
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French), mandatory
