Join our Client Data Enhancement team; its mission is to accelerate client acquisition and make the client-centric approach a concrete reality for the Bank. You will report to the Senior Manager – Client Data Enhancement, and will play a key role in data use and enhancement with modern tools and approaches in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. Your mission will be clear and straightforward: use data to improve our understanding of clients, optimize growth strategies, and help improve marketing initiatives. Your title will be Senior Manager – Client Intelligence and Advanced Analytics, Strategy and Transactional.

We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills who understands how to generate growth using data. You must also be able to engage your employees and maximize their contribution while ensuring their growth and their skill development through personalized coaching. The ideal candidate must be very knowledgeable in the following three areas: transactional and payment data use, business aspects of the banking field and data science techniques used in cloud computing. The candidate must also be a team player and committed to collaborative work. 

Main duties and responsibilities

⦁    Identify growth opportunities for the Bank (number of clients, $ value per client) using data
⦁    Use data and digital channels to acquire, serve and engage clients
⦁    Identify new data sources for predictive modelling purposes
⦁    Integrate models and analytics in marketing practices
⦁    Guide our business strategy by identifying the target clientele (e.g., segments, location)
⦁    Integrate new practices (geolocation, triggering, personalization, behavioural, etc.) and develop the client experience with the business lines
⦁    Help convert our current analytical environment to a new cloud-based environment
⦁    Prioritize data asset development based on business priorities and analytical opportunities
⦁    Coordinate a team of 5 or 6 data scientists
⦁    Act as an expert with the Bank's internal stakeholders


⦁    Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience
⦁    Significant or specialized experience using banking data (transactional, credit, investment, etc.)
⦁    Experience managing a team of data scientists
⦁    Experience with SAS, Python, Databricks and Snowflake
⦁    Proven leadership in implementing initiatives that generate growth in the banking industry
⦁    Ability to influence and manage change
⦁    Ability to manage stakeholders
⦁    Strong analytical mindset
⦁    Experience managing high-performance team(s) in business intelligence
⦁    Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
