Join the Operational Risk Management team responsible for supporting the Information Technology sector. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of rigorous and passionate colleagues who are eager to bring value to our inhouse IT initiatives and processes.  As a Senior IT Risk Consultant, you will report to Senior Management, ensuring compliance and application of the Bank's operational risk management framework.

Your role:

• Support IT in its sound management of operational risk with due regard to its risk appetite.
• Act as an expert advisor in operational risk management, in close collaboration with management’s partners.
• Influence risk management decisions and strategic orientations in a digitally transformed environment.
• Collect and analyze complex data to document elements that will quantify risk and assess the effectiveness of controls associated with current activities and projects.
• Participate in the decisions and development of adapted solutions addressing partner needs.
• Support IT in the maintenance of sound regulatory and third party governance.
• Conduct complex analyses.
• Coordinate the production of reports and ensure their accuracy.
• Participate in committees and special projects in order to represent the sector with various organizations, authorities and stakeholders.

Your thoroughness, analytical skills, power to act and ability to manage priorities will make you the ideal Senior Advisor.

Required skills:

• Completed Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience OR completed Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of IT business processes and activities.
• Ability to learn new concepts and to pinpoint key strategic data.
• Ability to quickly grasp and resolve complex issues, making relevant recommendations.
• Ability to work in a field in constant evolution.
• Bilinguism (spoken/written) French and English.
