A career as a Senior Manager at the National Bank Insurance Firm means identifying and developing the National Bank client market in order to offer them products and services adapted to their insurance needs. In addition, you contribute to the implementation of business development strategies and customer loyalty by offering personalized service. You will also be part of an agile, dynamic and passionate team that has a direct impact on the protection of our clients. Your mandate is to mobilize and support the members of your team of insurance brokers in achieving the business objectives of the personal banking sector. 


Your role:

  • Act as a leader in your field of expertise
  • In collaboration with the AVP, define the strategic orientations specific to your sector of activity and ensure the optimal positioning of the insurance protection concept offer
  • Mobilize and support the brokers on your team in their business development and assist them in perfecting their insurance and living benefits strategies as part of their customer advisory services
  • Act as an expert advisor to the management committees of the personal banking sector  
  • Make recommendations to achieve the advisory offer objectives set by the Bank
  • In collaboration with the AVP, ensure the hiring, development and coaching of insurance brokers
  • Develop networking strategies with your referral networks and support your brokers in their development
  • Work in synergy with your VPA colleagues and brokers from other sectors in order to offer a privileged and complementary service to all National Bank clients.

Required Skills:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree, related to the industry, and 10 years of relevant experience or completed Master's degree, related to the industry, and 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in business development with personal banking clients
  • Good knowledge of insurance products      
  • Experience in insurance and/or banking management
  • Experience in managing staff and coaching a sales team  

Preferred skills:

  • Good knowledge of insurance and living benefit strategies
  • Experience in facilitating training activities
  • Experience in customer service
  • Knowledge of the insurance brokerage industry
  • Knowledge of the banking network at the branch level 
  • Ability to maintain and develop your internal and external network
