As a Senior Data Analyst, you will participate in the integration of data for large-scale projects and help solve complex issues in a business intelligence environment. You will be part of the continuous simplification and improvement of processes while accelerating the transformation of our practices, systems and data.

Your job:

  • Work in collaboration with various stakeholders with different mandates and expertise (technology, data science, finance, etc.) and ensure ongoing communication
  • Involvement in projects and initiatives to develop data integration and data exploitation solutions
  • Participate in the implementation of a data strategy to propel Finance sector into a consulting role
  • Understand and translate stakeholders' data needs, document processes and model data flow
  • Ensure data integrity and quality
  • Promote compliance with the Business Intelligence standards established by the organization

This newly implemented team wants to become the resource for Business Intelligence in the Finance sector. Our mission is to contribute to the improvement of decision-making based on advice and solutions to make use of the wealth of data and accelerate the Bank's evolution. This position has a hybrid work model. 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree, related to the industry and 10 years of relevant experience or completed master’s degree, related to the industry, and 7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in data modeling (business conceptual)
  • Knowledge of data management and analysis (e.g. data requirements definition, business rules and metadata documentation, master data management, value lists, data quality)
  • Positive, innovative and committed professional
  • Experience in project delivery
  • Ability to evolve in a changing environment
  • Strong collaboration and cooperation skills
  • Good analytical and synthesis skill
  • Leadership, influence, initiative and ability to manage priorities
  • Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English

 Preferred skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as Power BI, SAC or Tableau
  • Experience with a data documentation tool (e.g. Collibra)
  • Knowledge of banking and financial institutions
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts
