In this role, you will act as a partner and senior analyst with Investment Advisors across Canada, supporting them in the production of retirement projections. You will report to the Practice Leader Financial Planning

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and analyze requests from Investment Advisors (IAs) for the production of Wealth Portrait (retirement projections and Life insurance needs)
  • Organize information to facilitate the preparation of plans and share them with stakeholders
  • Manage and organize several files with short delays
  • Identify business opportunities
  • Facilitate the collaboration of various stakeholders including advisors, financial planners, estate planners and insurance specialists
  • Organize technical team meetings
  • Assist the Financial Planning Practice Leader in various projects related to the Financial Planning Community (SharePoint update, video capsule design and editing, communication with the Yammer, review of Excel files and job aids, etc.).
  • Participate in the process and review of the financial plans produced by the firm's financial planners (Pl.fin and CFP)

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years' relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and two years' relevant experience OR University certificate/undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and six years' relevant experience
  • IQPF financial planning title/accreditation (recommended)
  • Knowledge in the wealth management field
  • Strong knowledge of technological tools (Excel, video tools, SharePoint design, Stream...)
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Bilingualism both spoken and written (English and French)
