Senior Analyst Cybersecurity Delegate

As a Senior Analyst Cybersecurity Delegate for Financial Markets, you will support various stakeholders and business partners to establish operational strategies to protect the interest of Financial Markets, in line with cybersecurity best practices and governance standards at National Bank. You will be accountable to raise organizational awareness and conduct risk mitigation activities.

Your role :

• Act as an advisor for multiple stakeholders and management in the evaluation of risks and strengthen our ecosystem by implementing a strong access management program across the various applications of our ecosystem
• Analyze complex issues encountered in the access management of our Financial Markets applications
• Influence and make recommendations concerning the sector’s activities/processes to reduce or limit the Bank's operational, regulatory and cybersecurity risks
• Help improve business processes to ensure strategic alignment with best market practices
• Lead committees/workshops and define application access profiles to mitigate fraud and information security risks
• Define needs and provide advisory support for access management 
• Make recommendations for the Financial Markets business line in partnership with IT

National Bank, Financial Markets is a leading financial services firm providing investment banking services to a diversified client base that includes corporations, institutional customers, and governments. The firm has operations in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, New York, London, Dublin, and Hong Kong.

You will report to the Financial Markets Senior Manager, Business Operational Strategy and Resilience and be based in downtown Montreal or Toronto.

Our team of dedicated and responsive risk management professionals work collaboratively with business partners to mitigate risk exposure through the implementation of several strategies and promote a strong risk culture across the Financial Markets sector.

Competencies required :

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience in operational risk, compliance, or information security
• Ability to optimize business processes and create reporting for senior management
• Excellent communication skills
• Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written), a strong asset

Preferred competencies:

• Knowledge or interest of the financial markets sector and experience in data governance
• Well-developed entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated leadership.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and quickly identify key elements surrounding financial markets and its IT environment
• Experience in data governance
