As a Senior Advisor, Regulatory Assurance, your role will be to: 

  • Lead the project and coordinate the preparation of work in line with OSFI’s assurance expectations over capital, leverage and liquidity returns
  • Help establish the schedule of deliverables, ensure regular and thorough follow-ups on the progress of objectives and contribute to their achievement
  • Support the liquidity and capital teams in their preparation and contribute to the evolution of practices at the Bank to ensure it’s compliance with the regulator’s and the auditor’s requirements.
  • Act as the internal key contact and help represent the Bank at inter-bank forums on related topics.
  • Develop and maintain close collaboration and a trust-based relationship with the liquidity and capital teams and the various lines of defence.
  • Contribute to the implementation of innovative initiatives and identify potential synergies in the processes.

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field and 3 to 4 years’ relevant experience, OR completed master’s degree in a related field and 2 years' relevant experience.
  • Any other combination of relevant experience could be considered
  • CPA designation obtained or in the process of being obtained
  • Proven leadership, ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, and ability to influence
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to work on several files at the same time
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to summarize information and good judgment
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will communicate with partners across Canada via the inter-bank forum
  • Experience with audit mandates related to regulatory financial information, an asset
