Your role: 

  • Take charge of and/or manage the delivery of initiatives for the Securities Settlement sector under Operations, Financial Markets and Payments
  • Determine business needs, manage the impacts on operations and recommend the best possible solutions
  • Participate in and provide expertise for the implementation of new activities and/or new processes
  • Challenge existing business rules and work methods
  • Manage stakeholders and align their different interests
  • Proactively communicate summaries of results, issues and risks to management and partners
  • Represent the unit in various projects/initiatives and have an impact on stakeholders’ buy-in with respect to processes

We offer the opportunity to work remotely. This position reports to the Strategy and Business Process Manager, Securities Settlement Processes. You will collaborate daily with a team of several experts from IT, the BPI Project Execution Team, as well as our business and OFMP partners. 


Required competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience OR master’s degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Operations, Financial Markets
  • Experience in change management and initiative deployment
  • Experience in an advisory role with management
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities and results-oriented
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)


Preferred competencies:

  • Experience in project management/delivery of initiatives in agile mode
  • Experience in process reengineering and continuous improvement.
