As a Senior Agribusiness Account Manager, and in collaboration with your colleagues, you will play a leading role in the strategic support of large agribusinesses. Your tasks, as varied as they are complex, will allow you to quickly become a trusted professional for these companies that feed the world.

This position reports to the Associate Vice President Agri-Food and will be assigned a portfolio with clients in the Montreal, North Shore and South Shore regions.

 Your job;

  • Manage complex and large-scale banking relationships including structured and occasionally syndicated financing with other financial institutions.
  • Be a strategic business partner by advising large and fast-growing agri-food commercial clients on integrated banking solutions that meet their needs.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Bank's agri-food business volume by implementing strong business development strategies within your region.
  • Assist the Associate Vice-President, Agri-Food in achieving objectives.
  • Ensure you meet the evolving and complex needs of clients by maintaining regular contact with them to optimize your financial product offering
  • Negotiate the terms of agreements with clients by ensuring that they meet risk management standards and profitability criteria
  • Achieve the different objectives set by the business line
  • Ensure the maintenance of the quality of your loan and deposit portfolio while ensuring its growth and maximization of profitability by assuming a consulting role in line with customer needs
  • Ensure your visibility and that of the Bank through social involvement in your community as well as with various organizations and professional associations

Competencies required :

  • Professionalexperience from 7 to 10 years depending on your diploma:
  • Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience
  • OR Master's degree and five years of relevant experience
  • Excellent ability to work in a team and demonstrate leadership
  • Sales and business development skills
  • Strong experience commercial financing and recognized as an expert in the field
  • Experience in managing large corporate clients
  • Experience advising internal senior management
  • Experience in agribusiness, desirable
