As a Senior Agribusiness Account Manager, and in collaboration with your colleagues, you will play a leading role in the strategic support of large agribusinesses. Your tasks, as varied as they are complex, will allow you to quickly become a trusted professional for these companies that feed the world.

This position reports to the Associate Vice President Agri-Food and will be assigned a portfolio covering mainly the Montreal and North Shore regions.


Your main challenges

  • Identify and develop business opportunities in your market and increase your agri-food client base
  • Meet clients' changing and complex needs by maintaining regular contact with them to optimize your financial products offering
  • Negotiate the terms and conditions of agreements with clients while making sure that they meet risk management standards and profitability criteria
  • Achieve the different objectives set by the business line
  • Ensure that the quality of your loan and deposit portfolio remains strong, grows and is as profitable as possible by acting as an expert advisor in line with your clients' needs
  • Ensure your visibility and the Bank’s visibility through social involvement in your community and with various organizations and professional associations

  • You have 7 to 10 years of professional experience depending on your degree:
  • Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience
  • OR Master's degree and five years of relevant experience
  • Excellent ability to work in a team
  • Sales and business development skills
  • Experience in commercial credit 
  • Experience in managing large corporate clients
  • Experience in agri-food industry desirable
  • Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English
