The ODISA (Operations, Delivery of Infrastructures and Security Assets) group is currently seeking an advisor who wishes to pursue the development of the team responsible for risk management and cross-sector files, in order to promote their development based on business objectives. This position is at the centre of the sector's transformation, including new work practices and tools and a variety of initiatives.

Want to learn more about what your role involves:

  • Participate in identifying and following up on the unit's operational risks and act as a coach and resource person for the teams
  • Help ensure the sector's compliance and help them respond to auditors
  • Act as the ODISA risk team expert, contact person and representative for the other Bank sectors
  • Provide an overview of sector activities, e.g., by producing statistics and dashboards
  • Help optimize and consolidate controls to make them more efficient
  • Help ensure the sector's compliance and help them respond to auditors
  • Participate in identifying and following up on the unit's operational risks and act as a coach and resource person for the teams
  • Participate in the development of processes and support tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5-7 years of relevant experience, OR master’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in risk management OR Compliance OR internal audit
  • Recognized as an agent for change and able to influence others
  • Sound knowledge of reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, EasyBI)
  • Understanding of banking products and systems
  • Interested in learning and recommending new ways of doing things
  • Ability to take a leadership role in ensuring that the objectives of various groups are met through teamwork
  • Very good knowledge of Jira
  • Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English; mandatory
