Responsibilities for this position: 

Lead major projects (product launches, portfolio manager changes, etc.) and collaborates to solve problems requiring high experience and expertise
Generate ideas and identify opportunities for NBI in various markets (e.g., mutual fund dealers, full-service brokers, ...) 
Influence strategic orientations in product development and management to achieve NBI’s objectives 
Ensure NBI’s profitability and competitiveness by developing and managing complex product lines 
Define, review and monitor investment policies and collaborate with internal partners (e.g., compliance) and external asset managers. 
Participate in asset allocation decision-making and risk management of available investment strategies to optimally measure, identify, monitor and diversify current and potential risks. 
Manage and implement recommendations for continuous improvement of the investment processes and policies in place at NBI 
Act as a coach with analysts and product officers on the team

Competencies required:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience: minimum
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or PRM (Professional Risk Manager) : an asset
  • Pertinent experience in the investment industry
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will frequently serve clients who speak a language other than French
