We're looking for a Manager - Due Diligence to join our team tasked with managing a portfolio of private placements of over $500 million and rolling out a new $200 million fund. 

Reporting to the Managing Director, Senior Partner and CFO, the incumbent will be responsible for the due diligence process and the transactional aspects of any new investments.  They will have to carry out thorough, rigorous fundamental analyses of the various accounting, tax and legal aspects of any potential investments.

These investments, made in the form of share capital, convertible debt, mezzanine debt or subordinated debt, will contribute to the Bank's mission and have a significant economic impact with potential for rollout across Canada.

Main responsibilities: 
-    Develop financial models based on income statements, cash flows and budgets.
-    Conduct a critical analysis of the financial information provided.  If necessary, communicate and/or travel to meet with work teams involved with any potential investment. 
-    Optimize financial arrangements by identifying risks, taking a critical look at assumptions and conducting sensitivity analyses.
-    Coordinate communications with various external consultants including accounting experts, tax experts and legal advisors.
-    Be able to take a critical look at all non-financial aspects of a potential acquisition, particularly human resources, the IT environment, certain contracts, legal aspects and any other risks that may have an impact on the value of a company.
-    Prepare and present to the investment committee the documentation needed to make decisions.
-    Be on the lookout for any opportunities or risks, financial or other, that may affect the fair market value of a potential investment. 
-    Coordinate the implementation of investments with various stakeholders, notably by obtaining all necessary approvals and coordinating disbursements.
-    Carry out financial monitoring for certain investments.


-    You have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a CPA or CFA designation, and a minimum of 7 years of experience, including 5 years in due diligence
-    You have excellent abilities to analyze financial information and resolve problems
-    You have advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
-    You have excellent communication and writing skills
-    You enjoy contributing to the development of strategic projects
-    You tolerate stress well and are good at multitasking
-    You must be bilingual (English/French)
