The Public Relations and Content Marketing team is looking for a Manager, Digital Writing. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Public Relations and Content Marketing, the manager will be responsible for providing strong leadership and promoting excellence across our writing teams. 

Our team’s mission is to create content for our website and client space that inspires people to take action and helps them understand their finances, giving them the tools they need to make informed decisions and achieve their goals.

About your impact
As manager, you will be responsible for expanding and developing our writing team to support our rapidly growing expertise. As a leader in the Client Experience and Digital sector, you will be tasked with implementing a client-centric, data-driven culture of excellence, based on our values of partnership, agility and empowerment. You will also define and implement a vision to develop our expertise and support the Bank’s digital transformation.

About your responsibilities

  • Build collaborative relationships and ensure alignment with key stakeholders and teams to help transform the client experience, achieve business objectives and boost team efficiency 
  • Translate our business objectives into concrete targets for the team 
  • Possess and maintain in-depth knowledge of our industry, business objectives, ecosystem and expertise so that you can play an active role in identifying opportunities presented by various projects 
  • Maintain an overview of our ecosystem content to ensure compliance with editorial standards, help implement a strong brand voice, promote best practices and ensure consistency between platforms 
  • Track content performance and team results
  • Coach team members to develop their expertise and careers, boost their engagement and motivation and maximize their positive impact on business results and colleagues 

About your experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (communications, journalism, marketing, etc.) and 7 to 10 years of experience
  • Excellent knowledge of principles and best practices for content writing for SEO and web accessibility 
  • Excellent command of French (written and spoken) AND good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Solid experience in cross-platform digital writing (ads, websites, apps, emails, etc.)
  • Team management or leadership experience 
  • Experience in change management or implementing a business transformation 
  • Proven ability to analyze multiple sources of data and information to produce strategic recommendations 
  • Interest in finance and economics, an asset 
  • Creativity, vision, agility and authenticity
