Join our team at BusinessFlex. This dynamic team of 90 experts works to meet the needs of clients who contact BusinessFlex or who are referred by our partners. You will work to grow the client portfolio while providing efficient service to SME clients via remote channels.

As an SME account manager, you will have to create trust-based relationships over the phone and grow our small and medium-sized business client portfolio. You will quickly become a trusted partner as you support clients with their financial projects.

This position reports to the Sales and Service Manager.

In your role, you will be expected to:

  • Respond to incoming calls and referrals from partners to advise clients over the phone based on their needs
  • Analyze credit reports, develop financing scenarios and provide appropriate solutions
  • Negotiate the terms and conditions of client agreements, making sure that they meet profitability criteria
  • Apply and ensure the follow-up of recommendations made by various specialists at the Bank and its subsidiaries with a view to developing profitable business relationships
  • Take responsibility for your own personal development to improve your competencies and your knowledge of the economic aspects of the SME market

  • Based on your academic background, at least 3 to 7 years of experience in sales and business development:
  • University certificate and 6 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience
  • Master’s degree and 2 years of experience
  • Experience in personal and business financing
  • Call centre experience, an asset
  • Knowledge of commercial banking products, an asset
  • Negotiation skills
  • Exceptional team player and outstanding customer service skills
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)

You must be available fulltime Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
