National Bank Insurance is currently looking for an Executive Assistant to provide proactive support to the Vice-President, Sales and Distribution.
Within this business line of more than 200 employees, you will support the team to help National Bank Insurance fulfill its mission of always giving its clients the best protection.

Your main challenges:

  • Keep your manager’s agenda up to date, make appointments, coordinate the logistics of meetings and travel, and suggest improvements to ensure work efficiency
  • Work independently to provide proactive support for all types of requests and take leadership on administrative activities for the sector
  • Prepare, revise, and improve various letters and documents
  • Independently monitor budgets and provide the reasons for budget discrepancies for your manager
  • Coordinate and manage sector employee files in matters concerning various HR and IT requests
  • Act as a resource person for all employees in your sector who request information about the Bank's administrative policies and procedures and other administrative tasks
  • Update, compile, and verify data and performance reports to enable management to easily track data

Competencies required:

  • A 3-year college diploma or academic equivalent in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in proactively managing a calendar
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work under pressure or within tight timeframes
  • Self-starter, proactive, and good collaborator
  • Very skilled at determining priorities and emergencies
  • Autonomous and good organizational skills
  • Diligent and professional
  • Good people skills and client-centric

Preferred competencies:

  • Experience as an assistant
  • Experience working with various collaborative tools such as Yammer, SharePoint, Teams, etc., an asset
  • Knowledge of the distribution network, an asset
  • Bilingual, both spoken and written (English and French)
