DevOps integrator

Primary Locations: Montreal, Quebec

• Are you a DevOps professional with experience of applying deployment best practices in a cloud computing context?
• Are you hands-on with an agile approach?

Your role

You’ll actively participate in making our DevOps vision a reality by integrating all these components into our delivery pipelines. In concrete terms, you will work with the members of your team to develop deployment solutions, such as:

• CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Integration of solutions based on sound password management, i.e., using vaults such as HashiCorp Vault
• Complete management of dataflows using infrastructure as code
• Integration of security scanning solutions

You will be working in the following technology environment:

• AWS services
• Collaboration (Jira/Confluence)
• Source code management (Git-Bitbucket)
• Continuous integration servers (Jenkins)
• Artifact management (Nexus, Artifactory)
• Reports and dashboards (SonarQube)
• Sourcing (Ansible, Terraform)
• Sourcing and orchestration tools (EKS)
• Application monitoring (Datadog, Splunk)

Your main responsibilities:

• Help the business lines integrate a new tool in a DevOps environment
• Implement and support sourcing for AWS environments
• Automate deployment and configuration management tasks to improve efficiency
• Ensure the availability, performance and security of all AWS services
• Collaborate with developers to implement DevOps best practices
• ·Help implement and manage monitoring and reporting tools for AWS environments
• Help develop practices and encourage their adoption

Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years’ relevant experience
• Proficiency in French required
• Experience in DevOps, including automation and configuration management
• Knowledge of AWS services
• Programming experience (Python, Shell, etc.)
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices
• Bilingual: Ability to communicate effectively in English (for dealing with English-speaking suppliers ouside Québec)
