This position reports to the manager.

The Advisor Banking Services sector is currently seeking a banking advisor who will meet its clients' financing needs.

More specifically you will be required to:

  • Identify business opportunities and advise our clients by phone about the financial products and services we offer, particularly our credit products.
  • Establish and maintain lasting business relationships with clients.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with the quality of your advice.
  • Show customers the competitive advantages of the Bank's financial products and services.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance rules and administrative procedures.
  • Stimulate the sales business development efforts of your team by collaborating in organizational changes and solving problematic situations, always in the interest of continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with our clients (acquisition, retention).
  • Identify the risks inherent to Personal and Commercial Banking sector activities.

  • A completed Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 months of relevant sales and customer service experience OR a university certificate in a related field and 2 years of experience OR a completed college diploma (DEC) in a related field and 3 years of experience
  • Customer and advisory service experience
  • Work experience in the branch network or call centres, an asset
  • Knowledge of loan and credit products, an asset
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French), essential
