  • You are an experienced mainframe specialist.
  • You want to participate in the Bank’s mainframe application and software evolution?
  • You are recognized for your rigor, your technical knowledge and your ability to be resourceful?

Your rôle :

  • Participate in the mainframe non-production environment configuration management
  • Participate in proof of concepts related to mainframe DevOps software or any other solution in connection with the mainframe
  • Participate in mainframe modernization
  • Inspect change plans for mainframe software upgrades before their deployments
  • Analyze change requests or upcoming changes to identify impacts on existing application and execute required adjustments if required
  • Ensure the production and broadcast of documentation of our systems changes.
  • Identify and execute tests related to mainframe hardware or software changes in collaboration with application teams and IBM/Kyndryl
  • Act as a point of contact between IBM/Kyndryl and the application teams.
  • Support application teams with the mainframe environments and support requests regarding our tools, development language and software
  • Prepare and execute quality control activities including test exertion for mainframe software upgrades and deployment (ex.: z/OS, FileAid, IMS).

Your profile

  • Professional diploma (three years) with ten years of relevant experience
  • OR undergraduate degree with seven years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Z systems and its foundation software
  • Knowledge of z/OS UNIX System Services (OMVS), MQ, z/OS Connect, z/OS, DB2, CICS, IMS, JCL, et Rexx
  • Knowledge of Topaz Workbench, FileAid, AbendAid, Xpeditor, CA Endevor et CA ACF2, an advantage
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and collaboration tools
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and DevOps, an asset
  • Proficient time and priority management
  • Rigor, autonomy and versatility
  • Bilingual (spoken/written) English / French.
