Join a dynamic and autonomous team where you will report to the Senior Manager, Taxation activities, Operations Investments.  The team's main mission is to take care of tax activities within investment operations regroup 4 teams of experts: The Center of Expertise, CRS / FATCA / QI / QDD which provides governance and support for compliance programs with QI, FATCA, CRS and QDD tax rules.  As well as 3 other teams who work in the management of registered, non-registered Canadian tax slips and management of US tax operations.

More information about the role:

  • Provide independent support to your team by performing a number of administrative tasks
  • Maintain your Senior Director's agenda up to date, organize appointments, coordinate the logistics of meetings and trips, and suggest improvements
  • Handle calls by answering questions and ensuring that calls are returned
  • Serve as a resource for all employees in your sector when anyone requests information about the Bank's administrative policies and procedures
  • Draft, revise or improve letters and various documents, and prepare or improve the layout of presentations
  • Independently monitor the budget and provide the reasons for budget discrepancies for your manager
  • Help with certain operational activities during the team's peak period
  • Be fully proficient with the software required for your duties

Position profile:

  • High school diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or college diploma and 1 year of relevant experience
  • Experience in proactively managing a calendar
  • Experience working with various collaborative tools such as Yammer, SharePoint, Teams, etc. (an asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Be a self-starter, proactive, and a good collaborator
  • Open-minded and adaptable
  • Very skilled at determining priorities and emergencies
  • Autonomous and good organizational skills
  • Diligent and professional
  • Good people skills and client-centric
  • Bilingual, spoken and written (English and French)
