A career in Multi-Residential Finance at National Bank means participating in the transformation and having a direct impact on the client. As Multi-Residential Finance Director, you will be in charge of ensuring the renewal and retention of the mortgages that will be awarded to you. The customers served are located across Canada. It will be through your negotiation and organizational skills that you will achieve the goals of retention and renewal.

The Multi-Residential Financing team is composed of about fifty multidisciplinary professionals.  Specifically, you will be part of a team of 8 directors taking care of business development or renewals that do not require any travel to the client.

Your job

  • Ensure the renewals of  the multi-unit mortgages that will be allocated to you
  • Ensure customer retention at this important time in the life of a financing
  • Negotiate renewal terms with the client
  • Be rigorous in your follow-ups and manage a good volume of files to be processed
  • Contributeto business development and customer loyalty by ensuring an efficient sales and after-sales service

Required skills:

  • Completed bachelor's degree, related to the business line, and 4 years of relevant experience or Completed master's degree, related to the line of business, and 3 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of multi-unit mortgage products and administration
  • Experience in mortgage renewal and business development
  • Experience in customer service and relationship management
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good ability to manage priorities and a large volume of files to be processed
  • Sen ens of the organization and show great rigor

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of commercial financing

Particular Condition:***Although the transit of assignment is in Laval, the position can be done from one of the regions where our business centers are located. The selected candidates will have to complete online tests during the recruitment process. Please note that a minimal time in function ( in the same function, same transit and/or same portfolio) of 3 years is required for this position because it demands a constant and direct relationship with customers. This period will allow you to acquire the required skills for the position and to build a relationship with your customers.
