Account Representative Commercial Banking

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Performance and Support, Commercail Services.
Your main challenges 
  • Support the account manager by prioritizing and carrying out a variety of complex administrative tasks related to commercial files
  • Ensure that clients are satisfied and increase their loyalty by developing personalized relationships adapted to the needs of each client
  • Optimize dealings with clients and identify business opportunities
  • Open commercial files and respond to our customers’ requests
  • Assist colleagues in handling non-standard files that require in-depth knowledge of the business
  • Identify operational issues, suggest solutions and help develop new procedures.
  • The candidate needs to be able to identify all risks inherent to the Personal and Commercial Banking sector's activities. 

More specifically, you will:

  •  Closely monitor routine activities and carry out general file administration
  • Check and ensure signature of documents for offer of financing letters and security
  • Ensure follow-up of the clients’ files according to the set deadlines
  • Gather, compile, verify and input financial data
  • Participate in the development of control tools supporting activities of the service
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with the various stakeholders involved in files.


  • Three-year college diploma or the academic equivalent in a related field and three years of relevant experience
  • Experience in customer service
  • Knowledge of commercial banking products and services
  • Knowledge of ICOP and TIP applications
  • Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Bilingualism (spoken and written) French and English, an asset
