Your role

  • Implement strategies for finding and attracting talent, including headhunting
  • Advise managers and candidates during the recruitment process
  • Post jobs, analyze resumés, conduct telephone interviews, and select candidates
  • Maintain talent pools by building lasting relationships
  • Provide a people-first and inclusive candidate experience
  • Promote the Bank and identify potential profiles
  • Participate in networking events
  • Contribute to improving co-development processes and activities

The acquisition team of around 20 passionate recruiters is based in downtown Montreal (hybrid work) and focuses on strategic recruitment for all of Canada.

You will be mandated to support the development of National Bank outside Quebec. You will provide day-to-day support for leaders and managers in the Commercial Banking and Private Banking sector based in Ontario, the Prairies, British Columbia and Atlantic Canada.

Internal requirements

  • Experience in talent acquisition
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Solid experience in sourcing and talent acquisition
  • Well organized with good priority management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Execution of talent search and acquisition strategies for specialized positions
  • In-depth knowledge of the job market and building talent pools

Preferred skills:

  • Committed to teamwork, curious, and interested in learning
  • Able to work through ambiguity
  • Good analytical skills and ability to work with data
  • Bilingualism (English and French) asset as you could do business with partners across Canada.
