To support this ambition, we’re looking for an Employee Experience Business Partner who is passionate about people and their development.

You will be mandated to support the development of National Bank outside Quebec. You will provide day-to-day support for leaders and managers in the Commercial Banking and Private Banking sector based in Ontario, the Prairies, British Columbia and Atlantic Canada.

You will serve as a leading partner for all issues related to the employee experience: hiring and onboarding, engagement, talent development, culture, change management and team dynamics. You will also help immediate managers improve their technical and soft skills.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Employee Experience Business Partners for Financial Markets, Commercial Banking and Private Banking

Your role:

· Understand the business objectives, opportunities and issues, as well as the objectives and business reality, of the regions you serve

· Support leaders and managers and develop their skills and competencies

· Diagnose complex situations, identify human and organizational risks and issues, and recommend proactive, practical solutions

· Create a work environment that reduces irritants and has a positive impact on the employee experience

· Analyze KPIs, dashboards, and all other sources of information and propose adjustments to the strategies in place

· Help develop, implement and follow up on Employee Experience programs, policies and procedures

· Work in agile mode alongside various business partners and Employee Experience colleagues to better manage the business priorities of the sectors


Required skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience OR master’s degree in a related field and 6 years of relevant experience 

· Experience advising teams, managers and senior management

· Known for your coaching skills, the quality of your advice and your ability to understand situations and identify possible solutions

· Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French), an asset

Preferred skills:

· Proven leadership skills and ability to influence

· Ability to engage and motivate various stakeholders and partners

· Known for your coaching skills, the quality of your advice and your ability to understand situations and identify possible solutions

· Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and proposing solutions that go off the beaten track

You will need to be comfortable travelling to the provinces served (20% of your time).
